A Guide to Game Analysis

One of the issues involved with teaching game development at a bachelors level is getting students to a point where they can adequately analyze games using existing methodological frameworks. The issues surrounding this problem stem from popular culture where 99% of games discourse is written in a highly subjective way. To help give students some more guidance on how to address the analysis of games at a tertiary level, Leanne C. Taylor and I have put together a set of guidelines specifically tailored to help Qantm DES104 students achieve better results in their analytical works. This document may also be relevant to other students, but always consult your assessment criteria to make sure that it is right for you.
